The comic starts off with the actual dictionary definition for a witch printed on the page, followed by the same page with the definition scratched out. more ween? And I did like Wytches #1, sort of, but I was hoping to LOVE this comic, and maybe that’s why it fell short - my expectations were too high. Scott Snyder reteaming with his Batman: The Black Mirror artist Jock for a series called Wytches AND it’s launching just weeks before Hallo. Review 2: This sounds like it should be the best comic of the month. All in all it was a pretty engaging read and I look forward to the next installment. Jock's artwork is good but I find his style might not be right for a horror comic it seems a bit clean cut rather than gritty like Steve Pugh or Travel Foreman's gruesome drawings in Animal Man. ![]() This comic has the same horror vibe as Snyder's run on Swamp Thing. There aren't any major problems with it, we get introduced to the main characters and a pretty neat mystery.
